DAY ONE – FRIDAY, 24TH APRIL 2020 TIME: 9.00AM TO 12 NOON THEME: THANKSGIVING SCRIPTURES: PSALM 136; MARK 11:24; PRAYER POINTS

1. Thank God for how far He has brought us a Nation even with the outbreak of the Covid 19 pandemic. Thank God for the life of our President and the Wisdom He has given him to take decisions and measures to mitigate the consequences of the COVID 19 Pandemic.

2. Thank God for the ninety-nine (99) and counting recoveries recorded in the nation and those recorded all over the world.

3. Thank God for the many individuals and corporate bodies that are donating in cash and kind to support the fight against the Pandemic.

4. Thank God for the lives of health workers worldwide, most especially, frontline staff, security services, the media and the government machineries for their unrelenting efforts and services they are providing for the nations.


TIME: 12 NOON TO 3.00PM THEME: REPENTANCE SCRIPTURES: PSALM 66:18; ISAIAH 55:7; ISAIAH 59:1-2 PRAYER POINTS

1. Confess the sins of the nations and the leaders of the nations.

2. Confess the citizens of the nations worldwide.

3. Confess the sins of the Church and the leadership of the Church worldwide

4. Confess the sins of our families and ancestors.

5. Confess individual sins.


TIME: 3.00PM TO 6.00PM THEME: HEALING AND DELIVERANCE FOR THE WORLD SCRIPTURES: DEUTERONOMY 9:25-29; 1 TIMOTHY 2:1-3 PRAYER POINTS

1. For a mighty and miraculous deliverance from the Covid 19 Pandemic in Ghana and the Nations of the World.

2. For the healing of those who have been infected and undergoing treatment throughout the world.

3. For frontline workers worldwide, that they will be Divinely Protected from being infected

4. For the Leadership of the Nations and the arms of Governments.

a. The Executive – that they may take decisions that will help in combating the spread of the disease and that they may formulate sound economic and other policies that will bring the economies back to life after the Covid 19 pandemic is over

b. The Legislature – Prayer for God’s Wisdom and Influence in the national and global post-pandemic legislations not to hinder the Church or stifle Christianity

c. The Judiciary

d. For Security Services

5. For God’s Favour upon the nations of the world

6. For the Lord to build a protective wall around this country

7. For the World Health Organization and Researchers to have a breakthrough in discovering a vaccine.

Human Rights and Gender


The Council believes that the right of citizens, especially women, children and the disabled should be protected by all. In view of that, it works to ensure that there is respect for fundamental human right which includes the right to live, the right to education, the right to free speech and the right to movement with the view of ensuring peace. Council’s work in the area of HIV/AIDS, advocacy for Food Security and Worse forms of Child trafficking reflect the right based approach to its activities.
