   3-Day National Fasting and Prayer Programme



DAY TWO (2) – SATURDAY, 25TH APRIL 2020 TIME: 9.00AM TO 12 NOON THEME: THANKSGIVING SCRIPTURES: ISAIAH 65:24; 1 THESSALONIANS 5:18 PRAYER POINTS

1. Thank God for the Church Universal. Thank God for the leadership of the Church in Ghana for this foresight to bring the Church together to seek the Face of God on behalf of the nation and the nations of the world. Thank God for all Christians and Ministers of the Gospel who have been fasting and praying for the nation in time and season to ensure the progress we are currently making.

2. Thank God for the useful lessons that have been learnt from the national to the personal level and the innovations that have been made.

3. Thank God for the new business opportunities that have been discovered.

4. Thank God for the souls that have been brought into the Kingdom.

5. Thank God in anticipation of His Mighty Healing and Deliverance at the end of the fasting and prayer period.


TIME: 12 NOON TO 3.00PM THEME: REPENTANCE SCRIPTURES: NEHEMIAH 1:5-9; PSALM 86:5 PRAYER POINTS

1. Prayer of forgiveness for the nations.

2. Prayer of forgiveness for occultic practices in the Church.

3. Prayer of forgiveness for occultic practices in Schools.

4. Prayer of forgiveness for corruption and wickedness (ritual murders, brutal rapes, homosexuality, etc) in the world.


TIME: 3.00PM TO 6.00PM THEME: HEALING AND DELIVERANCE FOR THE WORLD SCRIPTURES: 1 SAMUEL 7:5; PSALM 32:8; 147:14; JEREMIAH 29:7; EZEKIEL 22:30 PRAYER POINTS

1. For unity, peace and stability of the nations.

2. For free, fair and peaceful elections.

3. For the nations and the Church to learn the needed lessons (spiritual, social, economic, cultural etc) from the pandemic.

4. For the Church, that this may serve as turning point in the future of the Church in Ghana, that this bond of unity may become stronger by the day.

5. For the Plans of God to be established in the nations of the world.

6. For Leaders to take the right decisions during this time of crisis.

7. For prosperity and economic recovery.

Human Rights and Gender


The Council believes that the right of citizens, especially women, children and the disabled should be protected by all. In view of that, it works to ensure that there is respect for fundamental human right which includes the right to live, the right to education, the right to free speech and the right to movement with the view of ensuring peace. Council’s work in the area of HIV/AIDS, advocacy for Food Security and Worse forms of Child trafficking reflect the right based approach to its activities.
