Prophet N'akoa Nazareth Visits Christian Council of Ghana


The leadership of the Israel King of Jews Church led by its founder, N'akoa Nazareth Ansah Jamson today paid a courtesy call on the leadership of the Christian Council of Ghana at its headquarters in Osu, Accra.


The General Secretary of the Christian Council of Ghana, Rev. Dr. Cyril G.K. Fayose, welcomed the Prophet and his entourage and explained to them the vision and mission of the Council.

He further explained the activities of the council for the year to the Prophet and thanked them for their visit.

Prophet N'akoa Nazareth on his part thanked the Council for the warm welcome and encouraged the leadership to continue with their good works in building our dear country.

Rev. Dr. Cyril Fayose on behalf of the Christian Council of Ghana presented some sourvenirs of the Council to the church and encouraged them to continue to pray for the peace of the country.

Also in attendance were Rev. Abraham Opoku Baffour, Director of Ecumenical relations, Madam Joyce Steiner, the director of programmes and advocacy, Mr. Oheneba Kofi Ntiamoah, director of finance and administration, Madam Veronica Acquah, Human Resource Manager and members of the leadership of the Israel King of Jews Church.

Human Rights and Gender


The Council believes that the right of citizens, especially women, children and the disabled should be protected by all. In view of that, it works to ensure that there is respect for fundamental human right which includes the right to live, the right to education, the right to free speech and the right to movement with the view of ensuring peace. Council’s work in the area of HIV/AIDS, advocacy for Food Security and Worse forms of Child trafficking reflect the right based approach to its activities.

Interfaith and Ecumenism


The Council connects with other Christian bodies such as the Ghana Pentecostal Council (GPC), National Association of Charismatic and Christian Churches (NACCC) and the Council of Independent Churches (CIC) to foster peace and advance social issues and Christianity.
